2008 Events

The Beautification Committee has been blessed with enough donations to make a good head start in reworking the medians

near the Gate 1 Entrance to Ridge Harbor.  Rocks have been ordered and placed in the beds along with attractive, drought-resistant

new plants.  Many thanks to all who have participated in the Volunteer Calls and to Cindy Schneider for spearheading the Committee.

Thanks also to Steve Schneider and John Spreen for watering the new landscape plants during the hot summer months.

 

Thanks to Donna and Dickey Laney for providing the new flags for Marina Park. They proudly flew for this 4th of July!

 

 

 

2007 Good Deeds:

We had some volunteer help this past weekend (February 10-11) in helping to remove metal and other debris from down by the marina and boat ramp.  Thanks to Mike Cain, Joe Koury, Chuck Lancaster, and Terry Boatman for cutting it up and  hauling it off.  This has been an unsightly pile for several months.     
Thanks to Gennaro Bonomo, Steve Schneider and John Spreen for helping to install the yellow markers along the wall and at the end of the low-water boat ramp.  Thanks to Dickey Laney for donating these yellow markers. (February & March 2007)
Many thanks to Donna and Dickey Laney for providing new flags for Marina Park...the American Flag and the Ridge Harbor Flag.         (March 2007)
Burnet County Commissioner, Joe Don Dockery, had stop signs placed at the exits of Ridge Harbor .  This was a needed service and will serve our community well.   (March 2007)
Jim Madigan repaired broken stone column of the front gate.  Thanks to Jim for the many times he has helped our community with repairs such as this.  Jim also arranged for the ground in front of the gazebo to be leveled so that the gazebo improvement project could get finished. (April 2007)   

Thanks to all the volunteers who showed up for the Ridge Harbor Volunteer Work Day on April 21.  The gazebo got painted, trash and brush around the swimming pool got removed and general trash/old lumber got picked up.  (April 21, 200
